Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann kicks off in Cavan town today.

Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann kicks off in Cavan town today.

The annual event includes showcases of traditional music, parades, ceili and street music sessions.

Some 250,000 visitors are expected to descend on the town for the main event, which takes place between Friday and Sunday.
