Post mortem carried out on Dublin body

A post mortem is being carried out on a body found at a derelict house in south Co Dublin this morning.

The remains were discovered in a downstairs room of the property on Ulverton Road in Dalkey by firefighters who had been tackling an overnight blaze.

The house had been empty for a number of years.

The garda technical team has cordoned off the area as part of its investigations.
