Government to establish official guide to property prices

A definitive and official guide to the state of the property market is to be established, the Government has today announced.

Justice Minister Dermot Ahern confirmed the establishment of a new property database, which will clearly show house prices and market trends and improve transparency in the market, and quickly detect market trends.
