HIQA to announce terms of Mallow hospital probe

The Health Information and Quality Authority is expected to announce the terms of reference today for a planned independent inquiry into a Cork hospital.

It will examine safety and the quality of care at Mallow General Hospital in the county.

It follows complaints from patients at the hospital.
