Boyle: Callely must consider position after latest allegations

The Green Party Chairman Dan Boyle has said Senator Ivor Callely should consider his position.

It follows claims over the weekend that he claimed expenses from questionable receipts.

Senator Callely has already been suspended from the Seanad for 20 days and lost the Fianna Fáil Party Whip over expenses claims in excess of €30,000 relating to his holiday home in County Cork.

Dan Boyle, a fellow Senator, has said there must be a full investigation into the latest allegations.
