Otis staff vote to end dispute

The strike involving staff at Otis Lifts has ended.

Staff attached to the Technical, Engineering and Electrical Union have voted to end the dispute which began on July 2.

The row centred on compulsory redundancies by the company in June.

Otis has agreed to reduce the number of compulsory redundancies and increase the number of voluntary redundancies available.
