A man and a woman will appear in court in Dublin later charged in connection with a drugs seizure in Stillorgan earlier this week.
The search of a car led Gardaí to a sophisticated cannabis factory in a house on Mount Anville Drive.
Officers targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Blackrock area of Dublin stopped and searched a car on Drummartin Link Road in Stillorgan on Monday afternoon.
They found 5kgs of cannabis in the boot and arrested the driver - a 33-year-old man.
In a follow up search of a house in Mount Anville Wood, Gardaí found the entire upstairs of the property had been converted into a cannabis factory, with high-density lighting systems, reflective wall coverings, and extensive ventilation and air extraction systems.
Up to 500 cannabis plants were found bringing the total of the seizure to €600,000.
A 33-year-old woman was arrested and the pair will appear before Dun Laoighaire District Court this morning.
