A Scottish man has been jailed for seven years for falsely imprisoning, torturing and threatening to kill his former partner in a four-hour ordeal.

Paul Coulter, with an address in Dublin at Clonshaugh Glen, Coolock, had just been released from the Midlands prison when he carried out the attack in front of the couple's two children at a house in Swords on April 5, 2009.
