Smith departs for CAP talks

The Minister for Agriculture Brendan Smith is travelling to Poland and Hungary today for talks on the future of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) after 2013.

The Minister for Agriculture Brendan Smith is travelling to Poland and Hungary today for talks on the future of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) after 2013.

Brendan Smith will hold talks with the Ministers for Agriculture and Rural Development from both countries.

The visit is part of a series of meetings which Minister Smith is undertaking on the shape of the CAP post 2013.

Hungary and Poland take over the EU Presidency in 2011.
