Three rescued from sinking yacht

Three men have been rescued from a sinking yacht off the Galway coast today.

They had set sail from Spiddel Pier on a 21- foot vessel when it developed a leak and started sinking.

Galway Lifeboat and Shannon Coastguard helicopter went to their assistance and a local fishing boat took the three men on board.
