Young man's body found in Kildare estate

Gardaí are appealing for information following the discovery of a man's body in Co Kildare.

The 21-year-old's remains were found in a house in the Moorefield estate in Newbridge at around 5.30am yesterday.

It is believed the man had been stabbed in the chest.

An incident room has been set up at Newbridge garda station. Anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the Moorefield area between midnight on Sunday and 5am yesterday is asked to come forward.
