The North's Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness has hit out at those who organised the riots in the mainly Catholic Ardoyne district in North Belfast last week.

In an address to the MacGill Summer School in Glenties, Mr McGuinness said there are still a small number of individuals who cannot grasp the political realities of modern-day Ireland.
