A 27-year-old man from the North has drowned after going swimming in a remote area of Australia.

A 27-year-old man from the North has drowned after going swimming in a remote area of Australia.

It is understood he was with a group of 20 friends when he entered the water in Kakadu National Park, 171 kilometres south east of Darwin, in the Northern Territory.
