Callely guilty of 'grave and serious' misrepresentation, Seanad Committee finds

The Seanad Committee investigating Ivor Callely's expenses has tonight recommended that he should be suspended from the Oireachtas for 20 sitting days without pay.

It found that Senator Callely intentionally misrepresented his normal place of residence, when he claimed thousands of euro in expenses from an address in Cork.
