Funeral details are being released for the eight victims of Sunday's crash in Donegal.

The sole survivor of the crash remains in a stable condition in hospital.

The funerals of three of the victims - Mark and PJ McLaughlin, and 66-year-old Hugh Friel - will take place in Fahan tomorrow, with four other funerals on Thursday and the final one on Friday.

The stretch of road between Buncrana and Clonmany where the accident happened remains sealed off for a second day as gardaí continue their investigations into the crash.

Seven of the victims were between the ages of 19 and 23 and had been watching the World Cup final between Spain and Holland prior to the collision.

They were packed into a Volkswagon Passat when it clipped one car and then collided head-on with a Toyota Corolla, killing that car's 66-year-old driver, Hugh Friel.

Mr Friel's funeral Mass will take place at St Michaels Church, Erris tomorrow, while Paul Doherty, Eamon McDaid, Damien McLaughlin and Ciaran Sweeney will be buried on Thursday.

James McElaney's funeral will take place on Friday.
