Westlife star given green light for Sligo development

Plans by Westlife star Shane Filan to build a nursing home in Sligo have been given the green light.

Plans by Westlife star Shane Filan to build a nursing home in Sligo have been given the green light.

An Bord Pleanala has approved the €5m nursing home at Knappagh Road near Sligo town.

Shafin Development, owned by Shane Filan and his brother Finbar, plan to build an 80-bedroom nursing home by next June.
