Brain-damaged boy awarded €4.7m in settlement with hospital
The High Court has approved a €4.7m settlement to a 10-year-old boy from Cork with irreversible brain damage.
It was alleged in this action against Bon Secours Hospital, Cork that Colm Daly from Glasheen suffered profound intellectual and behavioural problems because he had received no vitamin K injection after his birth in June 2000.
