Man pleads guilty to possession of guns and ammunition

A Dublin man pleaded guilty at the Special Criminal Court in Dublin today to having guns and ammunition in south Dublin last year.

Stephen Verhoeven (aged 22), Brookfield Terrace, Blackrock, Co Dublin pleaded guilty to the unlawful possession of two M.E. .38 Compact G revolvers and 20 rounds of .38 inch M.E. Gum ammunition, at the Topaz garage, Tallaght bypass, Tallaght, Dublin on January 4, 2009.
