Four rescued from boat
Four people had to be rescued today when their boat got into difficulty off the coast of Portmarnock in Dublin.
Shortly after 2pm the Dublin Coast Guard was called to assist a boat that was taking in water and sinking.
On arriving they found a 20-foot speedboat with four people on board.
The vessel was holed and the engine could not be started.
The passengers were taken to Howth harbour. They did not sustain any injuries.
