Man given suspended sentence for smuggling contraband into prison
The brother of a convicted murderer who was involved in smuggling contraband into Mountjoy prison has been given a suspended sentence at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
Sean Hinchon (aged 32) of St Ronan Close, Clondalkin pleaded guilty to conveying a mobile phone to his brother Thomas Hinchon and to conspiracy with others to convey heroin to him. He has seven previous road traffic convictions.
