Analog Devices has announced a €23m investment in Research and Development at their operation in Limerick.

The US multinational said the project is about developing the future of semiconductor technology.

Enterprise and Innovation Minister Batt O'Keeffe has announced the investment which is supported by IDA Ireland and the Government.

Managing Director at the Limerick facility Denis Dempsey says this investment will protect more than 1,000 jobs there.
