Man due in court over mother's murder
A man is due in court in Dublin this morning charged in connection with the murder of a 30-year-old mother of one from Ballyfermot whose body was found in the boot of a car.
Helen Donegan had been missing for almost seven weeks when her badly decomposed remains were discovered in the rear of a Saab estate in Newcastle in Dublin last Tuesday.
A post mortem examination revealed she died from a single gunshot wound to the chest.
The 52-year-old man - who was arrested in Clondalkin on Tuesday - is due in court in Blanchardstown later today.
