Passengers delayed on a Ryanair flight at Glasgow Prestwick Airport have been given chocolate and water by police after it was delayed for more than four hours.

Passengers delayed on a Ryanair flight at Glasgow Prestwick Airport have been given chocolate and water by police after it was delayed for more than four hours.

Some of the passengers had become agitated during the wait, so officers decided to buy food and drink for the passengers.

They finally took off for Spain tonight after being delayed by striking French air traffic control staff.
