Woman awarded €45,000 in discrimination case against Permanent TSB
A Cork woman has been awarded €45,000 after her employer, Permanent TSB, was found guilty of discriminating against her because of her gender.
The mother of five had applied to work part-time hours at the bank under an alternative working pattern scheme but Permanent TSB denied her application and allowed a male co-worker to avail of a four-day week under the same scheme.
