An Army bomb disposal team has made safe a viable explosive device at Finglas Garda Station in Dublin.

'Viable' device made safe at Dublin garda station

An Army bomb disposal team has made safe a viable explosive device at Finglas Garda Station in Dublin.

The device was handed in to gardaí in a partially detonated state by a member of the public and a bomb disposal team was deployed to the scene.

Around lunchtime today the device was made safe and was handed over to gardaí for investigations.
