Wolfe Tone commemoration being held today

Republican Sinn Féin is holding its annual Theobald Wolfe Tone commemoration in Kildare today.

Wolfe Tone is viewed as the father of Irish Republicanism.

Republicans will gather in Sallins and march from there to Bodenstown churchyard, where Wolfe Tone is buried.
