Lenihan: Government has mandate to continue

Minister for Finance Brian Lenihan is today insisting that the Government has a mandate to continue, despite an opinion poll in which half of the people surveyed said they wanted a General Election.

Brian Lenihan says the current coalition's policies were championed by Klaus Regling and Max Watson, the authors of one of the banking reports released this week.
