Two Derry men were charged at a special sitting of the Special Criminal Court in Dublin today in connection with the attempted robbery of a cash delivery in Dublin’s north city on Wednesday.

Two Derry men were charged at a special sitting of the Special Criminal Court in Dublin today in connection with the attempted robbery of a cash delivery in Dublin’s north city on Wednesday.

Charles Anthony Deery (aged 41), a native of Derry with an address at Aughrim St, Dublin and Dermot Mc Fadden (aged 38), of Kildrum Gardens, Creggan, Derry were each charged with the possession of a firearm or imitation firearm while committing an offence under the Road Traffic Act at Manor St, Dublin 7 on June 8.
