Murder victim McAnaspie to be buried today
The funeral of murdered teenager Daniel McAnaspie - who died while in the care of the HSE - will take place today.
Meanwhile, it has emerged some children in State care have not been visited by a social worker for up to ten years or more.
The report - to be published by the Health Information Quality Authority later this year - also reveals more than 500 child protection and welfare concerns regarding children in foster care were never addressed or resolved by social work teams.
Seventeen-year-old Daniel Mc Anaspie - from Finglas in Dublin - disappeared from State care on February 26.
He was last seen alive in the Whitestown area of Blanchardstown - and was found dead three months later.
He had been stabbed six times and his body dumped in a drain in Rathfeigh in County Meath.
