MV Rachel Corrie crew to be deported soon

Israeli officials say the activists on board the Irish-owned aid ship prevented from reaching Gaza will be deported soon.

Israeli security forces boarded the MV Rachel Corrie yesterday and the vessel was escorted to the Israeli port of Ashdod.

There were five Irish activists, among others and several crew on board the ship that was carrying hundreds of tonnes of aid.
