Immigrants who return home 'collecting €35m in Irish social welfare payments'

Immigrants who signed on for Social Welfare payments here, but returned to their home countries, are receiving a total of around €35m a year, according to a media report this morning.

The Sunday Independent reports that €20m in Child Benefit and €15m in Job Seekers allowances is being paid to immigrants.
