Daly: 'NAMA for the People' not a runner
The Chairman of the National Asset Management Agency Frank Daly is ruling out a "NAMA for the People".
It has been widely called for as tens of thousands of homeowners are struggling with negative equity and difficulty paying mortgages after losing their jobs.
Speaking at a Certified Public Accountants event in Co. Kildare, Mr Daly again insisted "NAMA's no bailout" and they will chase developers for money if they don't pay now, but gain wealth in the future.
And in what he described as a personal opinion, Mr Daly was adamant that a NAMA for struggling homeowners was "not a runner".
