Cork father jailed for 12 years for sexual abuse

A Cork father who raped and sexually abused his daughter over the last decade has been sentenced to 12 years by Mr Justice Paul Carney.

The 51-year-old who served with the defence forces threatened his daughter that if she proceeded with her allegations then her family would lose his army pension and her mother would not be able to pay the mortgage.
