Gaza crew call for EU sanctions to end blockade

High-profile humanitarian activists tonight pleaded with EU chiefs to use sanctions to force an end to Israel’s blockade of Gaza.

Crew on the MV Rachel Corrie, one of the last aid ships vowing to defy the three-year-old military control, said they were determined to complete the journey into the isolated Palestinian territory.
