Four arrests in euro counterfeiting probe

A sophisticated forgery racket was smashed today after gardai arrested four men and raided buildings in Co Laois.

The suspected euro counterfeiting ring was uncovered after gardaí and European authorities joined forces to investigate increasing amounts of fake notes.
