Leading loyalist shot in face in Belfast

A man shot dead on a crowded street in Belfast earlier today has been named as Bobby Moffat, a leading loyalist figure.

The 44-year-old was shot several times in the face by two gunmen on the Shankill Road at lunchtime.

It is understood the murder was linked to an internal dispute within the Ulster Volunteer Force.
