Efforts to find a resolution to the dispute at the Passport Office in Dublin will resume at the Labour Relations Commission this morning.

The Civil and Public Services Union and the Department of Foreign Affairs are deadlocked over how to deal with 61,000 unprocessed passport applications.

The talks adjourned last night after a full day of talks failed to achieve a breakthrough.

However it is believed that some progress was made.
