A Cork man who was left wheelchair-bound after a savage attack in Sydney today described the 14-year sentence his attacker was given as "a good result".

Thirty-year-old David Keohane from Ballyvolane received serious head injuries when he was assaulted in the Coogee Beach area of Sydney in August 2008.
