Limerick shooting victim still in critical condition

A 20-year-old man remains in a critical condition this evening after he was shot in the head in Limerick last night.

Daniel Phillips from Ballinacurra Weston is being treated for his injuries at Cork University Hospital.

More than 50 gardaí are involved in the investigation in which two men and a woman - all in their 20s - remain in garda custody.

Insp John O'Reilly has appealed for information from the public.
