Yesterday hottest of year so far
Yesterday was the hottest day of the year with temperatures hitting 25 degrees in some parts of the country - and it could be a sign of things to come.
Scientists say this year could be the warmest in more than 130 years with record global highs recorded between January and April.
However sun-seekers here are being warned to make the most of the good weather for now.
Met Eireann says temperatures will drop later in the week.
