A 39-year-old man is in a critical condition after he was stabbed in the neck at a house in Laytown in Co Meath.

A 39-year-old man is in a critical condition after he was stabbed in the neck at a house in Laytown in Co Meath.

The incident happened in the early hours of this morning. The victim, who is believed to be from Dublin, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda and later transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.
