ASTI: 90% of new teachers do not get contracts

The ASTI has said that 90% of newly qualified teachers fail to get a full-time, permanent contract.

The union, which yesterday rejected the Croke Park deal on pay-and-reform in the public sector, is holding a conference for young teachers today in Dublin's Gresham Hotel.
