HSE appoints panel to investigate child deaths
The HSE has appointed a review panel to investigate serious incidents and child deaths.
Some of that 15-strong panel will be immediately charged with investigating the case of Daniel McAnaspie from Dublin.
The 17-year-old, who was in the care of the HSE, was found dead in a ditch in Co Meath last week - he had been stabbed to death.
The main panel - chaired by Dr Helen Buckley of Trinity College Dublin - will meet shortly to begin its work, under HIQA guidelines.
