Four Shell to Sea campaigners have been arrested for public order offences after chaining themselves to the stairwells in the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources.

Four Shell to Sea campaigners have been arrested for public order offences after chaining themselves to the stairwells in the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources.

The group are protesting in solidarity with Pat O’Donnell, a Shell to Sea campaigner who is serving a seven-month sentence for breach of the peace and obstructing a garda.

The two men and two women are being held at Harcourt Terrace garda station.
