Gardaí arrest man in connection with Cork car crash
A man in his 20's has been arrested in Cork as part of an investigation into a car crash last Thursday in which two teenagers lost their lives.
The man was detained by detectives on the Northside of the city shortly before 11am this morning.
He is being detained at Gurranabraher Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Sixteen-year-old CJ Dolan and 19-year-old Derry O’Callaghan lost their lives in the two-car collision which happened on Harbour View Road in Knocknaheeny just after 11.30pm last Thursday.
On Saturday, Gardaí investigating the circumstances leading to the crash charged a 40-year-old man from Knocknaheeney with falsely imprisoning a young man.
