Lecturer punished for showing colleague paper on sex life of bats
A University lecturer faces two years of "intensive monitoring and counselling" for sexual harassment after he showed a colleague a research paper on the sex life of bats.
Dr Dylan Evans, who lectures in behavioural science at University College Cork School of Medicine is demanding the sanctions be reversed.
The article about fruit bats was published last year, and Dr Evans said he showed it to more than a dozen colleagues on the same day, one of whom complained.
