Cut to state pension 'an assault on older people'

The 'Older & Bolder' campaign has said that a cut to the state pension would be "an assault on vulnerable older people".

The statement was issued in response to the Taoiseach Brian Cowen ’s refusal this afternoon to rule out cuts to the old age pension.
