Man injured in Cork car crash dies in hospital

A second person injured in a crash in Cork last night has lost his fight for life in hospital.

The incident happened on Harbour View Road in Knocknaheeney at 11.30pm when two cars were in collision while they were travelling in the same direction.

Gardaí are now questioning two men in connection with the incident. They are aged 40 and 21, and are being detained at Gurranabraher garda station.

One of those being questioned is the driver of one of the cars involved.
