O'Cuiv can't rule out cut to pensions
The Minister for Social Protection Eamon O'Cuiv has said he cannot rule out a budget cut to the old age pension.
Brian Lenihan has given his Cabinet colleagues a four-week deadline to come up with cutbacks in their individual departments.
It is part of the Finance Minister's plan to slash €3bn in December's Budget.
Mr O'Cuiv said he can't say if the pension will be cut or if it will be safe.
