Two killed in weekend road accidents

Gardai have named two people killed in road accidents over the weekend.

Ronan McCormack, 26, from Oaklawn Drive, Racecourse Road, Roscommon, was killed in a car crash in the early hours of yesterday morning on the Athlone to Roscommon Road.

William Barnes, 82, from Ballyboyle, Stradbally, Co Waterford, died in a collision in Stradbally on Friday evening.
